In celebration of CozyCot’s 9th Birthday Bash, Cotters are coming together to donate their bras to the less fortunate women in South East Asia.
CozyCot will be taking the lead with her own Crew donating their bras during the kick-off of “Surrender Your Bras for a Cause”campaign at the 9th Birthday Bash this Saturday.
Its founder Nicole Yee hopes to make women more aware of the lack of basic necessities like bras among women and young girls in neighbouring countries.
“There are many disadvantaged teens from countries like Bali and Cambodia, they live in very poor conditions and are badly in need of basic necessities which we, in Singapore, often take for granted. Giving a bra costs us nothing, but means a world of difference to another woman.”
The bras collection drive will kick off at the CozyCot Birthday Bash and continue after the event till 31 Dec 2010 at CozyCot retail store @ Orchard Central (#02-24/25). Members of the public are also encouraged to join in this meaningful campaign.
For every 2 bras donated during the collection period, Cotters will be rewarded with 1 set of Sorella bra-straps (while stocks last).
CozyCot will also add festive cheer to young women from Singapore’s community organizations, by giving away Special Goodie Bags to help them understand that true beauty emanates from the inside.
